This piece serves as a violation to the conventionally accepted for of love and display of intimacy. The two people don’t acknowledge the surrounding environment because their eyes are obscured and their judgment is shrouded. It depicts a deliberate withdrawal, emphasizing their focus on their internal connection rather than external perceptions—a deliberate isolation from societal expectations. The anticipation of a kiss without the actual touching of lips evokes a sense of suspended emotion, captured in the moment before intimacy.
